After two weeks of very hot sticky weather we had a night of heavy rain with lightening and the loudest thunder I have ever heard which seemed to be right over our house. Normally after it rains it is a bit cooler for a few days but today was as hot as ever even though it is only one week to the beginning of Autumn.
